The Attack on Branchear

Branchear came out of Mothermouth after visiting the Moonstone. To her dismay they had been silent this time, giving her no answers at to why Lilyeyes had died the way she had. She began to bound away before she tripped. A creature scurried out. Then another. And another. Soon what seemed like hundreds of rats were on top of Branchear. Being a medicine cat she barely knew how to fight. Starclan help me! She thought as they bit her and scratched her all over.

Lilyeyes did as her Starclan mentor had told her and went down to help the cat she would be guarding in the future. Show yourself! She thought as she began pushing rats off of Branchear. Blood stained the ground and the she-cat was passed out.

Branchear woke up expecting to see her ancestors. Her wounds stung but she was alive still somehow. She began staggering back to Skyclan camp.
